About Us

Founded in 1957, Junior League of Lafayette is committed to building a better Lafayette. Our members are extraordinary women who are dedicated to improving the community through effective action and leadership. By focusing on the organization’s mission, Junior League of Lafayette members raised millions of dollars over the years, which have been invested right back into the community to directly impact the lives of women and children.

Last year alone (2020-2021), Junior League of Lafayette awarded $18,385 in community grants to support local organizations such as Healing House, Second Harvest Food Bank, Autism Society of Acadiana, DREAMS Foundation of Acadiana, Acadiana Outreach Center, and more. And through over 23,313 hours of volunteer service from our members made an extraordinary impact through programs such as Kids In The Kitchen, NO FEAR NO FUTURE, and SMILES.

We are a league of extraordinary women. We are Junior League of Lafayette.
