Junior League of Lafayette

We are impacting the community every day.

Talk About Good Kitchens!

Thank you to our generous sponsors, gracious volunteers, and YOU for making Kitchen Tour a resounding success!

And a special thank you to our hosts for sharing their homes with us – each kitchen with its own personality and style, but nothing short of exquisite.

We look forward to seeing you in the Spring 2018!

Volunteers in Action:
SMILES Committee

The SMILES Committee purpose is to provide an escape and supportive environment through age appropriate activities for children ages 5-18 who are fighting cancer or have a parent/sibling with cancer.

In March, the SMILES Committee hosted 35 adults and children from Miles Perret Cancer Services for an evening at a UL men's basketball game. JLL provided attendees game tickets and concessions. UL Lafayette Athletics Department donated Ragin' Cajun signs, radios, tattoos, and bracelets.

    NO FEAR NO FUTURE

For over 10 years, Junior League of Lafayette along with its community partners has presented NO FEAR NO FUTURE to educate youth on the risks and consequences of distracted driving. The 2017 mock crash will take place at Lafayette High School, April 6-7, 2017.

We have many ways to partner with us!  Here are a few to mention; however, we encourage you to email us at jllsponsor@gmail.com if you do not find a partnership opportunity of choice.

We are a League of Extraordinary Women

We form strategic partnerships, create innovative programs and raise funds for exciting community initiatives. So what sets Junior League volunteers apart from the rest? They are not only women who want to improve communities, they are women with the training and skills to make it happen!

Whether through providing hands-on work for our volunteers, or by funding League-sponsored community projects, or by making direct grants to nonprofit organizations whose interests and priorities are consistent with our mission statement, the rich history and tradition of service of Junior League of Lafayette continues to grow!
