Spotlight on Kids in the Kitchen

The Kids in the Kitchen committee hosts weekly cooking and activity classes focused on healthy living for students at the Jackie and Granberry units of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Acadiana. Participants are introduced to new and healthy ingredients and are active, hands-on chefs as they prepare a meal. The activity segments expose participants to yoga, Zumba and circuit training demonstrating that exercise is both beneficial and fun!

We are a League of Extraordinary Women

We form strategic partnerships, create innovative programs and raise funds for exciting community initiatives. So what sets Junior League volunteers apart from the rest? They are not only women who want to improve communities, they are women with the training and skills to make it happen!

Whether through providing hands-on work for our volunteers, or by funding League-sponsored community projects, or by making direct grants to nonprofit organizations whose interests and priorities are consistent with our mission statement, the rich history and tradition of service of Junior League of Lafayette continues to grow!
