EmpowHER.

Coming Soon

EmpowHER. (pronounced Empower Her Period) is a subcommittee of the Health Essential  Resource (HER) Committee. Similar to Diaper Bank’s supply-chain process, EmpowHER. will receive period supplies from community partners on a quarterly basis. Volunteers of the HER  committee will assemble monthly period supply kits comprised of pads, tampons, and cleansing wipes and distribute to partner agencies every quarter. EmpowHER. will also coordinate smaller impactful projects and host uniform clothing and period supply drives throughout the League year to raise awareness of period poverty in our community.

What is Period Poverty?

Period poverty is the inability to access period supplies in order to manage a period.
