Project Applications Due July 7 Non-profit organization applications are being accepted for the Opportunity Knocks Project Participation for Lafayette-based 501(c)(3) agencies and organizations to offer staffing and funding for short-term (approximately 1/2 day) projects. Deadline is noon on July 7, 2008. Click here for details and application.
NOMA Features Talk About Good II
The New Orleans Museum of Art is featuring the exhibit "Rodrigue's Louisiana: Cajuns, Blue Dogs and Beyond Katrina" which includes the Junior League of Lafayette cookbook Talk About Good II where George Rodrique's art work appears on the cover and interior recipe dividers. The exhibit runs through Sunday, June 8th. Click here to order your copy of Talk About Good II. JLL Launches The Care Bus The Care Bus is a mobile pediatric healthcare initiative to increase healthcare access for children attending Truman Montessori School. The Care Bus provides healthcare services for the students including immunizations, preventative check-ups and care for sick children. These services are provided free of charge. Learn more.
