2020 Tinsel & Treasures Holiday Market

Thank you to all of our shoppers, merchants, sponsors and volunteers for joining us this year for our virtual Tinsel & Treasures. From our Sparkle & Shine Raffle, virtual Preview Party and online auction to our virtual Ladies’ Night and Facebook shopper group, we appreciate your support in every way. We can’t wait to see you next year! Don’t forget we have our virtual Children’s event in December, so stay tuned for more details!

While our virtual market and other special events now complete for this year, but you still have the chance to participate in our virtual Children’s Event.

Children’s Event:

Our Children’s Event will be virtually hosted by Santa and friends. For a $35 donation, your child will be able to enjoy a morning with Santa online before he drops down the chimney. Children will be invited to join a video call with him where he will read a Christmas book with special guests Olaf and Rudolph. In addition, your children will find safe, kid-themed items in the box, including a signed photo from Santa with “special friends,” stationery to write a letter to Santa, and other hands-on holiday activities. Participants in the Children’s Event can have their choice of date, either Saturday, December 12 or Saturday, December 19 at 9 a.m. Click here for more details!

Over the last 27 years, Tinsel & Treasures has been Junior League of Lafayette’s largest fundraiser, raising more than $330,000 last year. Like so many others, the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted our fundraising and therefore our programs. However, community needs still exist, and we are here to rise to the challenge. Improving the Community

Tinsel & Treasures has successfully raised over $6 million to support community programs in Lafayette and the surrounding areas that have a direct impact on the women and children in our community. It has also allowed us to provide financial support for Junior League of Lafayette and its Mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
