League of Extraordinary Women

Through strategic partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, I and nearly 600 fellow Junior League members contribute thousands of fundraising dollars and volunteer hours to improve the lives of women and children in our community. Combining my business sense and passion for my hometown, I’m able to connect people and projects that will lead to lasting community change. The vision began 55 years ago, but it’s today’s Junior League of Lafayette.

KATHERINE McCORMICK Wife to Todd; mother to Andrew, Amelia & Elizabeth; private foundation executive director, nonprofit board member, Junior League of Lafayette Tinsel & Treasures Committee member.

After establishing a women’s volunteer organization while living abroad, the Junior League of Lafayette enabled me to continue doing good for my community when I returned home. I’m one of nearly 600 local Junior League members who contribute thousands of fundraising dollars and volunteer hours that improve the lives of local women and children. The vision began 55 years ago, but it’s today’s Junior League of Lafayette.

Guiding our membership of nearly 600 women through strategic planning, I help ensure we fulfill our mission to improve the lives of local women and children. Sales of our popular cookbook series is one of many projects which enable us to contribute thousands of fundraising dollars and volunteer hours to accomplish lasting community change. The vision began 55 years ago, but it’s today’s Junior League of Lafayette.

As a local business owner and a parent, I share the Junior League’s goal of creating lasting community change. Together, we built a playground that will enhance the well-being of local children for decades to come. Through our strategic partnerships with local nonprofits, we contribute thousands of fundraising dollars and volunteer hours to improve the lives of women and children. The vision began 55 years ago, but it’s today’s Junior League of Lafayette.

Teaching children makes an enduring impact on their lives. The same goes for my volunteer efforts with the Junior League of Lafayette. Our strategic partnerships with local nonprofit organizations target lasting community change. Nearly 600 members strong, we contribute thousands of fundraising dollars and volunteer hours to improve the lives of women and children in our community. The vision began 55 years ago, but it’s today’s Junior League of Lafayette.
