Dear Prospective Merchants:

Plans for the 21st Annual Tinsel & Treasures Holiday Market scheduled for September 24-27, 2014 are underway! Junior League of Lafayette is pleased to extend you a prospective merchant application to be considered for our Tinsel & Treasures 2014H oliday Market. Tinsel & Treasures will once again be held at the CAJUNDOMEConv ention Center, which has proven to be a shopper’s paradise with two floors of shopping!

Merchants will be selected by category, quality of merchandise, and promptness in returning the required information. To assist the Merchant Selection Committee, photographs of your booth from similar events are required and a merchandise sample may be mailed but is not required and will not be returned. Our selection process has grown highly competitive due to the tremendous number of applications we receive from merchants to participate in our market, so please provide a good representation of your products and booth setup, as presentation matters.

An application fee of $20, application, photographs and samples must be received by February 14, 2014 to be considered. To ensure timely and trackable delivery please send your materials via UPS, FedEx or USPS Certified Mail.

Accepted merchants will be notified and mailed a contract in the beginning of April, which must be returned with a non-refundable deposit of half the booth rental fee to reserve booth space. The deposit and contract will be due by May 1, 2014 and the remaining balance is due in full by June 2, 2014. Booth assignments will be made upon full receipt of payment; failure to return fees and contracts on time will result in a withdrawal of your invitation.

Booth location requests can be made on your application. We will take all requests into consideration, but requests are not a guarantee of booth placement. The booth rental fee includes pipe and drape, one chair, and signage. Any other equipment needs are available at a reasonable rate. You will be required to give gift cards determined by your booth size. JLL will handle the creation and distribution of the gift cards. Booths on the left and right side of the entrance walls will be sold as corners and the entrance corner booths will be sold as prime. The booth fees
