Millions of copies of Junior League cookbooks have been sold generating millions of dollars for communities all across America. The Junior League of Lafayette, Louisiana's Something to Talk About - Occasions We Celebrate in South Louisiana draws upon South Louisiana's well-deserved reputation for flavorful cuisine and legendary celebrations. The League's fourth cookbook  published in 2005, Something to Talk About is part of the fundraising efforts coordinated by the Junior League of Lafayette to provide financial support for its mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Through its extensive fundraising efforts, which include their four cookbooks, the Junior League of Lafayette makes a significant financial contribution to other agencies working in these areas and has raised more than $2 million to fund and support its Mission.
